FIRST USDA Organic Toothpaste on the market! Fluoride Free! So safe you can EAT it!
3.4 oz.
This toothpaste will probably be quite different than you are accustomed to. The good thing is that it does not need nasty chemicals to make your mouth clean and refreshed! Our blend of essential oils does that all on its own! You're going to LOVE it! We certainly do!
Explanation of Ingredients:
Organic Aloe Vera Juice: Helps to cleanse your teeth and gums while soothing your entire mouth.
Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda): Aluminum Free, promotes whitening and helps freshen your breath.
Organic Essential Oil Blend: for breath freshening.
Organic Arrowroot Powder: Used traditionally in the West Indies as a basis for oral vitality. Completely edible. The term 'arrow-root' was originally applied to the root of the Maranta Arundinacea in consequence of its supposed efficacy in counteracting the effects of wounds inflicted by poisoned arrows!
Erythritol: Enhances flavor & naturally prevents without the nasty harmful effects of fluoride.
Bentonite Clay: Has been used for centuries to detoxify the body. When consumed, it absorbs toxins in the digestive tract & eliminates them. Used as a very mild abrasive to clean the teeth. May help re-mineralize the teeth with mild tooth decay. We obtain our Bentonite Clay from Living Clay.
'Every piece of Bentonite clay retains a considerable amount of energy from the large and powerful magnetic entity of the Earth from the volcanic eruption – its negative ionic charge. This electromagnetic action transmits an extraordinary strength to the body's cells and helps to rebuild vital potential through the liberation of latent energy. The body has great energy resources, which normally remain dormant; clay awakens them and speeds cellular revitalization. Living Clay® is a powerful agent of stimulation, transformation, detoxing and transmission of energy.' (Livingclayco.com)
'This rare, natural desert Bentonite clay, obtained from a sub-surface mine in California, has been protected from leaching by the climate. In addition, this particular clay deposit was sealed away and isolated from the natural elements by a cap of zeolite minerals for forty-three million years.' (www.livingclayco.com)
'Because its adsorptive properties have not been compromised by air or ground water contaminants, this highly charged, all natural Calcium Bentonite clay has a drawing power of 32 times its molecular weight. Living Clay® supplies the purest, most effective Bentonite clay available today. Characterized by its unique expandable properties, this green swelling Bentonite clay has a greater capacity to draw impurities and excess oils from the skin, as well to detox and bind with toxins.'
Bentonite carries a strong negative charge which allows it to bond to chemicals and heavy metals within the body and remove them. This process also releases beneficial minerals into the body. There is now research showing that while Bentonite does not release heavy metals into the body, it may have the ability to remove it from water, tissue and contaminated sources. From my own research, I feel completely comfortable using high quality clays from reputable sources. I personally use clays in these forms for various beauty and natural remedy purposes. But, again, you need to do what is right for YOUR family!

PROPOSITION 65 WARNINGS – FAQs
I’m seeing warnings on some Redmond products. What do they mean?
Poofy's toothpastes are sold with the following statement warning that the product can expose you to a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
⚠️ WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm – www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
These warnings are required by California’s Proposition 65 labeling law, which requires businesses to notify California consumers of the presence of chemicals on the Proposition 65 list under certain circumstances. Proposition 65 does not ban the sale of any products; it only requires warnings. You may have seen similar warnings on other foods and products, or in supermarkets, coffee shops, airports, hotels and restaurants. There are over 900 substances identified on the Proposition 65 chemical list, and new chemicals are added to the list every year.
Certain listed chemicals and elements are naturally occurring and are widely distributed throughout the environment in air, water, soil, rocks and natural clay (which is a key ingredient in some our toothpaste products). As a result, these types of chemicals and elements are often found in commonly eaten foods even though they are not intentionally added to the food.
Does a warning mean that the products aren’t safe?
Poofy Organics is committed to selling products that are safe to use and that also comply with all applicable laws. California’s Proposition 65 is not a food or product safety law, but a notification law that uses very stringent standards to establish when notifications are required. Consistent with that conservative approach, Poofy Organics provides Proposition 65 warnings. Although you should always take heed of warnings, the presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not mean that the product is unsafe. Poofy Organics has no reason to believe that any of the items we sell are unsafe for use as intended.
But I’m not a California resident – why are there warnings on the product I purchased?
The distribution of products – whether Poofy Organics products or any other product – can be very complex, with numerous distribution channels. It is not possible for Poofy Organics, or most other companies, to control where their products ultimately are sold, especially with the continuing rise of e-commerce sites. For this reason, Poofy Organics provides the Proposition 65 warning for all products, no matter where they are sold, even though the warnings are only intended for California customers.
Why don’t all similar products on the market carry the same warning?
Some manufacturers of similar products elect not to provide warnings, because they have concluded that they are not required to do so under Proposition 65. Other manufacturers take a different warning approach, sometimes because they have been involved in a Proposition 65 settlement and are required to provide certain warnings under the settlement agreement.
